January 01, 1970

Harry Gregory Dressler was born on May 11, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ethel Dressler, and was a lifelong resident of Cranberry Township, Butler County, PA. Harry is survived by his wife Margaret (Peggy) Dressler, his two sons and much-loved daughters-in-law, Greg and Katy (Charlton) and Jack and Lauren (Erkel) Dressler; and his four grandchildren Alex, Ava, Daniel and Aubrey. Harry was an only child who married into a family of seven siblings, and he made that ever-expanding Baldrige family his own, and opened his home to them on many occasions over the years. He owned a construction business for 38 years, building and remodeling homes in the Cranberry area. It was a great joy to bring his two sons into that business, which they now continue to own and operate. Harry was an outdoorsman, who spent most of his life fishing, hunting and camping, along with family and friends. He was a much-loved mentor and father figure to many. Having had a personal experience with God in his twenties, Harry knew that his eternal destination would be in heaven and moved toward it with faith and courage. His greatest desire was that all his family and friends would have the faith to believe that God truly loves you and accept the gift of salvation given to us through Jesus.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday from 1-5 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp., and Monday from 10:30 am until 11 am at Dutilh United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service celebrating Harry’s life will be held at 11 am at the church, with Pastor Tom Parkinson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Harry’s name to Dutilh U.M. Church, or a charity of ones choice.

I am one of Harry’s golf buddies. Harry gave me a book to read and it was very good for me at the time as I felt my faith was slipping away. It made me realize that Jesus was still with me. Harry was a good friend and I will miss him when we are playing golf and he is not there. My Deepest Sympathy on your loss, he will be missed by many. Sincerely, Walt
