MILLER HARRY E.
Age 84, of West View, on Friday, July 6, 2012, Harry went home to our Lord in Heaven. Beloved husband for 57 years of LaVerne A; loving father of John W. (Eileen), Harry E., Jr., Lori A. Miller, and Lynn A. Phillips (Bruce); grandfather of Brandon L. Miller; also survived by nieces and nephews. Harry was the last of four children to the late John W. and Hazel B. Miller, formerly of the North Side. Harry was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the WWII and Korean Wars. He retired from the Monongahela Connecting RR. He was a legislative delegate for Local 1633 and UTU 1074. He was a lifelong member of the West View VFW Post 2754 and North Boros American Legion Post 116. He enjoyed playing cards with the guys and spending time with his family. He was a strong, proud man that was loved by many and will be sorely missed. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. services will be concluded with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Western PA Humane Society, West View VFW Post 2754 or American Legion Post 116.
