Of North Sewickley Twp., formerly of Clay Twp. in Butler County, on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Husband of the late Elizabeth “Betsy” (Wadsworth) Thompson; father of Deanna L. Sirkoch (and her late husband Jim) and Keith E. Thompson (Amy); grandfather of Douglas and Allyson Sirkoch; beloved companion of Michele M. Paxton. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., 724-772-8800, where services will be held Saturday, 10 a.m.
I will always remember my Uncle Hump as a man bigger than life in both stature and kindness. He had an easy silence about him. You knew you would never get a long conversation out of him but you always knew he cared for you. To me he was the “cool” uncle. He had the motorcycle, always had the cool car, and was a bouncer for Donny Iris. The stuff legends are made of. He will be missed but I can imagine him now with Aunt Betsy “picking Cherries” to a favorite old song.

We will truly miss a great Friend to us. It is a great loss to you all and our thoughts and prayers are with you.He was truly blessed to have Michele by his side in his last years.
