Service: Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10 AM at St. Alexis Church, St. Aidan Parish.
Grace R. (Sassano) Tomichek, 93, of McCandless Twp passed away on Saturday August 17, 2024. Wife of the late Walter Tomichek; beloved mother of Marian Tomichek, David Tomichek, Audrey (Jeffrey) Anzelone and Stepmother of Dr. Richard (Emilie) Tomichek and the late Donald Tomichek; Grace was a proud and devoted grandmother and great grandmother.
Grace was an OB nurse at Passavant Hospital and then Office Manager for Drs. King and Utberg for over 27 years. Grace was a proud member of a Pittsburgh area Medical Office Manager group and taught at a local community college. Grace was a member of St. Alexis Parish for over 50 years. She was devout in her faith and had a special calling to pray for anyone in need. She also believed that her greatest vocation was as an advocate, mentor and teacher to grandsons Joshua and Jacob Anzelone.
Donations may be made in Grace’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Tunnel to Towers Foundation and The Parkinson’s Foundation.
