George P. Catalano
Age 92, of Ross Twp., passed away on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020. Born August 27, 1927, son of the late Joseph and Mayme (Polito) Catalano. Beloved husband of Jennie (Andognozzi) Catalano; uncle of Joanne (late William) Steiner. Also survived by cousins Rosemarie (Fred) Wolfe, John (Kaye) Alioto, Sam Alioto (Karen Borraccini) and many loving relatives and friends.
George grew up in Spring Garden and graduated from Allegheny High School. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Army Medical Unit.
He retired from Swindell Dressler, and was a long-time member of St. Sebastian Parish.
Family and friends are welcome Monday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 amat Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish/St. Teresa of Avila Church. Interment will follow with military honors at North Side Catholic Cemetery.

George was always a positive and good hearted person. Together with Jenny, they were a great example of a loving marriage. We knew George and Jenny via Dave’s mom (Mary Hein) and from St. Sebastian. Prayers to the family during this time of loss.
