Age 88, of McCandless Twp., formerly of Millvale, on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Husband of the late Florence (Gillespie); loving father of Robert (Susan) and Dave (Rhonda) Funderlich; proud grandfather of Erin, Mary, and Sara Funderlich, and David Funderlich, Jr.; brother of Mike and Joe Funderlich and the late Ann Brooks, Kay Pipich, Marie Price, and Eddie Funderlich; also survived by many loving friends and relatives. A Funeral Service will be held in St. John’s Lutheran Church of Highland, 311 Cumberland Rd., Pgh., PA 15237, Saturday 11 a.m. George proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
