Age 98, of Cranberry Twp., on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Caroline (Salopek) Kacsuta; loving father of Donna Hovis (Ronald), Patricia Pride (Allen), George Kacsuta and the late Carol Ann Kacsuta; grandfather of Steven and Matthew Hovis; great-grandfather of Jacob, Alyssa and Amanda Hovis; brother of Elizabeth Estok and the late John, Thomas, Paul, Joseph, Edward, Ann and Margaret; also survived by many loving relatives and friends. George proudly served his country in WWII as captain and B-17 pilot for 25 combat missions with the 8th AF 94th BG and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, American Campaign Medal, European – African – Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with five Battle Stars, WWII Victory Medal and Distinguished Unit Badge. He also served as a troop carrier pilot during the Korean War. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., 724-772-8800.
