Genevieve L. (Bonk) Kuras, 94, of Adams Township, formerly of Brentwood, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. Genevieve was a school teacher at St. Wendelin’s Grade School in Carrick. She was the beloved wife of the late Ted Kuras; loving mother of Adrianne Poydence, Janet Piccone (Charles), Marilyn Davies and Ellen Carlins (Thomas); proud grandmother of Lauren Taormina (Ricki), Jared and Mark Poydence, Erin Phillips (William), Mary Anne Davies (Jeff Horton) and Carolyn and Kevin Carlins; great-grandmother of Susanna, Joshua and Isabella; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. John Neumann Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Paramount Senior Living and the staff and Gateway Hospice for their dedicated care.
