Frederick J. Marburger of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 10,2017. Fred was born in Ellwood City on March 21, 1940. Son of the late Donald and Freida (Bicker) Marburger. Beloved companion for 25 years to Beryl G. Leavy; beloved by Linda C. (Larry) Densmore; Beryl’s granddaughter, Lindsay N. (William) Freil; brother of Douglas Marburger; also survived by a niece and nephews. Fred graduated from Lincoln High School in 1958 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. After the Air Force, Fred went to work for B&W Steel in Beaver Falls for 22 years and then worked at the Bulk Mail Center in the North Side, retiring in 2005, and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
Friends received Wednesday 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Rd., 724-772-8800. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Animal Friends, 568 Camp Horne Rd., Pgh, PA 15237.
