Eugene R. Caputo, age 89, of McCandless Twp., on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Husband of the late Eudoria (Boggs) Caputo; loving uncle of Lisa Downey (Jack), Michael Palmer (Judy), Silvia Deiner and the late Sarah Meyers (and her surviving husband, John) ; beloved brother of Lilian Ketchem; also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister; brother-in-law of Robert Boggs. Survived by many loving great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Friends received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Brian in St. Teresa of Avila Church, Saturday 10 a.m. Eugune was in the US Army from 1951 until 1957 and worked for Cardello Electric for 45 years.

I worked with Gene for probably 25 years at Cardello Electric. He was a great company man and spent many years as a Branch Manager at our Ambridge, Pa and Tampa, Fla locations as well as a Outside Salesman at our Northside location. I was also fortunate to play quite a number rounds of golf with Gene over the years and he always had a story to tell. I can see his smile and hear his voice as I type this brief message. God Bless !
