Eugene Thomas Vulakovich
Age 78, of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024. Born September 10, 1945, son of the late Michael and Angeline Vulakovich. Gene is survived by his beloved wife, Christine (Rodgers) Vulakovich, whom he married on December 11, 1981; brothers-in- law, Ray (Becky), Rick (Ruth), Mike (Patti), and Paul (Maria) Rodgers; sister-in-law, Maureen Rodgers; nieces and nephews, Pam, Michael, David, Paul, Katie, Scott; and great-niece, Audrey. Gene was preceded in death by his brother, John Gasper.
Gene was a devoted Steeler fan and enjoyed attending the games. He also loved cars whether reading about them or attending Nascar races and drag races.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 6-8 pm, and Thursday, from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 am at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, with Rev. John Gallagher officiating. Interment will be held at The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Gene’s name to St Nicholas Parish, 24 Maryland Ave, Millvale, PA 15209

Dear Chris, So sorry to hear of your beloved husband’s passing. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
My fondest memory was watching Steelers games with Gene. He would be in Marilou & Albert’s basement wearing all his Steeler apparel and he had a lot of it.

Gene was our neighbor for 17 years, he was a good neighbor and friend. Had lots of good conversations with Gene and Chris. Enjoy the Steelers from up there.
