Age 97, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Northeast Philadelphia, on Wednesday, September 5, 2018; Husband of the late Sylvia Weiss; Loving father of Hal (the late Phyllis) and Edward (Margaret) Weiss; Proud grandfather of Sarah (Stefan Epprecht); Rebecca (Justin Endler), Elizabeth (Jeff Swartz), Emily, Jennie Weiss, and Jillian Piccirilli; Brother of the late Lawrence Weiss; Also survived by loving relatives and friends, especially his beloved great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday from 12-2 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. A committal service will be held at Roosevelt Memorial Park in Bensalem, PA on Tuesday at 2PM. Erwin proudly served his country in the US Army Air Force during World War 2. After being honorably discharged, he began his lifelong career in the garment industry.
