Elsie R. Lhota passed on March 28, 2020 at age 92. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.

She was a devoted wife to Charles G Lhota for 65 years. She was a loving mother to Margret (deceased), Patricia (Lhota) Otto, husband Gary R.Otto, Charles A. Lhota, wife Karen A,Lhota, and a proud Grandmother to Charles T. Lhota and Benjamin C. Otto (deceased).

Elsie was devoted to living the teachings of Jesus including turning the other cheek, forgiveness and unconditional love. We have all been blessed by that devotion.

Elsie enjoyed gardening, reading, and all forms of exercise. Her first passion was cooking and baking and her specialties were Stuffed Roast Chicken, Plum Dumplings and Nut Struedel. Not only was Elsie an excellent cook, she was a hostess who always welcomed you with the warmest of greetings and the most genuine enthusiasm.

Elsie was kind, generous, and caring. She made the world around her a much gentler place.

One of Elsie’s most cherished prayers:

Let nothing disturb you.
Let nothing upset you.
Everything changes.
God alone is unchanging.
With patience all things are possible.
