EDWARD J.
Age 82, of Ross Twp., on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Beloved husband for 54 years to Nancy M. (Vrane) Halas; loving father of Christian E. Halas; brother of Frank Halas and the late Margaret Ganzlmar. Ed retired from Peoples Natural Gas after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Westminster College All-Time Sports Team. He was inducted into the Armstrong Co. Sports Hall of Fame in 1989. Ed was a 47 year member of St. Teresa of Avila Church where he served as an usher. He also was an Army Veteran during the Korean War. Family and friends received Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy. North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa of Avila Church Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Parkinson Disease Assoc., (APDA), 135 Parkinson Ave. Staten Island, NY 10305-1425.
