Edith D. Allen of Allison Park, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Adams T. and Sarah (Kirby) Allen; and sister of the late Harriett, George, Irene, Bob, Duke and Tom. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Edith was a well respected business woman at Bell Telephone for many years. After retiring from Bell Telephone, she worked at the University of Pittsburgh. Edith was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, who enjoyed golf and the movie “Shrek”. She was an inspiration to many and a woman of great faith. Friends will be received 10AM Wednesday until the time of service at 11AM at Allegheny Center Alliance Church, 250 E. Ohio St., Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Arrangements have been made by T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME. Memorial contributions may be made to Allegheny Center Alliance Church Mission Fund.
