E. Gerry Dudley VII, 93, on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Loving father of Gerry (Jackie) Dudley and Jane (Andy Fortna) Dudley; grandfather to Maggie, Abby and Bridge Dudley, and Max Fortna; stepfather to Shelley (John) Pohzehl and Rob (Sherri) Harris; brother of Caroline (Tony) Murray and Gina Martoccia. Gerry is also survived by dear companion Patty Liang and many loving friends and relatives.

Born in Schenectady, New York, Gerry grew up in Pelham, New York and spent his summers sailing on Long Island Sound. While attending the University of Michigan, he was manager of the Wolverines football team, joining them for their victorious trip to the 1951 Rose Bowl. He graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and went to work for Alcoa after finishing two years in the U.S. Army. He spent his entire career at Alcoa managing aluminum operations in numerous locations in the United States, England, and Jamaica.

Gerry lived to help others and generously contributed his time and talents to various charitable organizations including Special Olympics and Memory Care. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
