“Bugzy”

Of Ross Twp., on Thursday, March 29, 2023. Husband of the late Colleen (McGowan); loving father of Garrett and Brooke Locher; beloved son of Mary Ann (Linkesh) and the late Walter Locher; beloved brother of Daniel (Kim), David (Andi), and Dean (Heather); beloved son-in-law of Vincene and the late Lawrence McGowan; loving brother-in-law of Deborah McGowan (Joseph), Kellie Kendall (William), Erin Dierker (Kenneth); loving uncle of Morgan, Mitchell, Devon, Keryn, Stefen, and Hayden Locher, and Austin and Morgan Kendall, Delany and Hadley Dierker, Sam and Scott Ranallo.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-5PM and Monday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 (724) 772-8800, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11AM.

Bugzy was a beloved father, friend and member of the North Hills community. He was known as the mayor of Pittsburgh Airport during his time at US Airways. Bugzy enjoyed spending time with his two kids and attending North Hills sporting events. On Sundays you could find him cheering on the black and gold with friends at Heinz field. The North Hills community will miss his energetic and charismatic personality.

    Even though it’s been a long time since I last saw Bugzy, I spent many years working on the ramp with him at USAir. He was a great co-worker and we spent many shifts discussing the Pittsburgh sports teams. He was a great guy and his smiling face will surely be missed. RIP
