Douglas Eyre

Of McCandless passed away, at the age of 51, while on a business trip, for Alcoa, a company he loved, and was proud to be a part of, on Dec. 19th, 2007 in White Hall MI.
Doug is survived by his best friend, and eternal companion, his wife Connie Kaye (Bateman) Eyre. His children he loved and was so proud of, Nichole and Derek Eyre. Son of Harold and Elaine Eyre, Monroe Ut; Sisters Shauna Proler (Ronny) Houston TX; Denise Dahle (William) So. Jordan UT; Christine Wathen (Greg) So. Jordan UT and Marci Rasmussen (Steve) Quackertown PA. Son in Law of Lee and Kaaren Bateman So Jordan UT. Sisters in Law Christy Roth (Mark) Taylors SC; KayeLyn Hellstrom (Chris) Riverton UT and Kelly Benson (Sjon) Murray UT. Also many Nieces and Nephews who brought out Doug’s humor and playfulness continually.
Doug was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served in many callings and touched so many lives. He also served a mission in Madrid Spain for two years.
He was currently employed at Alcoa as Manager of Federal Tax, Audits and Tax Research. Doug was dedicated to his work and the people he enjoyed being with every day.
Visitation will be held at Devlin Mortuary in West View on Thur. Dec. 27th 2007 from 7-9 pm. Visitation will also be held from 9-11 am on Fri. Dec. 28th 2007, followed by a small service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2210 Reis Run Rd.
Friends are encouraged to stay following the service for a luncheon, where we will also be taping any stories, or touching memories you could share to leave for his children to remember him as they continue to grow.
