Dorothy (Vacek) Traft

age 80 formerly of Spring Garden died on 12-23-04 at Fosnight Care Home. She was born in Pgh on 5-18-1924 daughter of the late Rudolph and Antonite Kolouch Vacek. Dorothy was a retired telephone operator for H.J. Heinz company. Extended Thanks to Fosnight Care Home, especially Carol Jenkins. Loving Sister of Madeline Capretta of Bloomfield and Dolores Vlcek of Reserve Twp. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by 2 husbands, Jack Whitten and Richard Traft, 3 brothers, Rudolph, Joseph, John Vacek. And 3 sisters, Andrea Vvacek, Evelyn Gaysek and Lorraine Pitschke.
Visitation Sunday 12-4 PM and Monday 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Alexis Church, Monday 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park Cemetery.
