Dorothy J. (Sheriffs) Powell, of Adams Township, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011. She was the beloved wife of William A. Powell Sr.; loving mother of William A. (Stacye L.) Powell Jr. and Greg T. (Lisa M.) Powell; sister of Georgeann (Ross) Campbell and Barbara Lee (Vince) Gianfrancesco; sister-in-law of Pat (Paul) Sipush; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8800, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
