Age 93, of Ross Twp., on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Wife of the late Charles E. Fessler, Jr.; loving mother of Marcia F. Drozd, C. Edward Fessler III (Marjorie), and Carol F. Schafer (Mark); proud grandmother of Madelyn Fessler, Edward Fessler, E. Thompson Meyer, Cynthia DeLong, Matthew and Stephen Drozd; devoted great- grandmother of Tomasina, Aaron James, and Morgan DeLong, Molly, Emily, and Austin Drozd, Eric Fessler, Blakely and Tommy Meyer; also survived by loving nieces, nephew and other loving relatives. Preceded in death by her sister, Alberta Viney Wilkes. Friends will be received Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Sebastian Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Doris was born in California, where she met her husband while he was in the US Army during World War II. They were married after the war and moved to Pittsburgh. The family would like to give special thanks to Doris’ companions, Peggy Hopkins and Heather Cratsenberg, and other caregivers from Care at Home and Home Helpers.
