Donald W. Tait, 77, of McCandless, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009. He was the beloved husband for 46 years of Sheila Fagan Tait; loving father of Gary, Douglas (Marcy) and Lee (Renee) Tait; brother of Lois Tait Bires and the late Roy (Mary) Tait; son of the late Arthur J. and Ruth (Rarie) Tait; proud grandfather of Kevin and Lauren Tait; also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Donald was a second generation civil engineer and land surveyor. He was the owner/operator of Tait Engineering located in Ross Township. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills, where service will be held at noon Saturday.
