Donald “Don” K. Miller
Age 88, of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday morning September 19, 2020 of heart-related complications.
Don was born on November 26, 1931 in Somerset, PA and moved with his parents to Akron, Ohio where he graduated from Manchester High in 1949. He attended Kent State University before enlisting in the Air Force and serving in Korea. After the war, Don began a career and moved up the ranks to Regional Manager for WESCO, where he worked for thirty-five years until retiring in 1995.
An avid sportsman, Don loved fishing, hunting , the outdoors and enjoyed world traveling. As a Steeler and Ohio State University football fan, Don never missed an opportunity to support his favorite teams, a bond he shared with his family.
Don was survived by his three children, Timothy Miller, Kathy Akins and Kimberly Monaghan, grand-daughters, Sarah Miller, Emily Akins, Anna Akins and Amanda Miller, siblings Gary Miller and Margaret Mikkola.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
