    Dear family of Don,

My heartfelt condolences to all of you on the passing of Don. Don and my late husband, Burt, (deceased in 1991) were neighbors, friends, and classmates oh so many years ago. I’m sure they are catching up with each other now, in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss!

    Sincerely, Kathy Peelor

  • Trish Kirwan

He was too young to be taken so soon. I guess if there’s a good side, the good side of that is he went peacefully. Over the 54 years you have made lots of memories together. I know you’ll hold on to and cherish each and everyone of those.
    Love Trish

Don worked in the office next to us in the Investment Building. He was always friendly, funny and helpful. Later, no matter how many years had gone by, when we would run into him downtown or at the Byham he was so welcoming and so happy to see us that he made us feel special. Deepest Sympathy to family and friends on the loss of real gentleman and a good guy!

Don was my and many other lawyers’ critical combined vocational and economics expert for seriously injured clients’ lawsuits. He was bright, efficient, down to earth, honest, responsive, straightforward, and always a pleasure to work with. He made complex subjects easy for juries to understand. A self-effacing, nice man. I will miss Don. I extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends on their huge loss.

I had gotten to know Don over the last 5 years or so at the annual ASSA/NAFE meetings when we would go out to dinner. I also saw him at the last AAEFE conference I attended when we was the association’s president. He was a true gentleman and a wonderful person. My life is richer for having known him and my only regret is that I did not know him longer. I will miss him. May his memory be eternal.

  • Gary DelVecchio

Got to spend 4 good years with Don at SHCHS. Played in the band with him. He was a pretty good trombone player.

  • Nikki, Michael, Abby, and Georgia Krogmann

May you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared. Uncle Don will be missed. We love you all.
