Visitation: Thursday 4-8 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry

Service: Friday 11 a.m. in St. Ferdinand Church

Known for a quick wit and generous nature, Dolores Creedon, passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, Pennsylvania.

Born July 5th 1932 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Neubauer) Bezila. She was raised on the north side of Pittsburgh, and in the late 1950’s moved to Cranberry Twp, where she would spend the rest of her life.

“Dee” married Daniel F. Creedon in 1957 and was married for twenty-one years, until Daniel’s untimely passing in January of 1979. She graduated St. John’s School of Nursing and pursued her profession by working sixteen years at Divine Providence Hospital (now Kindred) on the North Side, and then as an occupational treatment nurse with AT&T for over twenty years.

Upon retirement, Dee volunteered for eighteen years at Cranberry Place and devoted hours of volunteering at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church performing various duties and contributing to a vast amount of organizational activities.

Surviving family includes sons: Daniel (Wendy), David (Cheryl), and Dennis (Valerie). She is also survived by her sister, Joan Bezila.

Known affectionately as “gran” and “kiki” to her grandchildren, whom include: Michel Creedon (Michelle), Kevin Creedon (Lauren), Robert Donatelli (Emily), and Ryan Creedon. She was dearly loved by her great grandchildren: Jayme, Derrik, Braden, Landon, Ella, and Landon Paul. In her later years, she lived for her grand and great grandchildren and showered them with love and support.

In addition to that, Dee loved all of her friends and friends from St. Ferdinand. She was sincerely proud of the friendships and bonds she had with each individual.

Dee’s passion in life was her: family, friends, traveling, making people smile, and cracking wise jokes. She will always be remembered for the wise and loving nature of her soul and the compassion she bestowed on all those who knew her.

The family of Dee Creedon would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford for their compassionate and loving care.

Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday from 4-8 at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 am at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.

Dee was a wonderful, loving faithful lady. For years, we sat next to her at Sunday’s 8AM Mass. When she wasn’t helping others, she would join us in birthday celebrations, and going out to breakfast at Bob Evans. She was always interested in our family, especially Ziva, the cat and Olive, the bunny rabbit. We loved her sense of humor…..she would vocalize what we were thinking. We feel blessed to have known her, and we have memories to cherish forever.
