Her passing is like a punch in the heart. She was a fantastic teacher, coach & friend. Spent much time with her in GAA. She gave me my nickname ‘Mashed Potatoes ‘. Every time we had an evening game she would always say “Reshko what did you have for dinner?” I would reply all I had which always included mashed potatoes. At our BHS 50 yr reunion this summer I was shown the Belhop from our senior yr. We all ‘willed’ something to someone in school. I willed my blue tennis shoes to Ms Tolbert because she loved them. She also called Nancy White, Chis Reckley & myself the “the 3 Tons of Fun.” Great memories of her! Enjoy life on the other side Dee Tolbert❣️👩‍🦳

What a wonderful life mentor. She helped me grow in school as a teacher and coach and it stayed with me my entire life. I wish I could have seen her again. Semper Fidelis Dee Tolbert!!
