DOLORES “DEE”
Born July 1, 1939. Died Wednesday August 21, 2013 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Thelma and William Marshall; sister of the late Eileen and Roberta; sister of Bill (Joann) Marshall; loving wife of 54 years to Bob Gerthoffer; caring mother of Linda Brennfleck of Evans City; Bob (Franny) Gerthoffer of Hilton Head, SC; Karl (Betsy) Gerthoffer of Mars. Proud grandmother of Eric (Markie), US Navy/USS Bainbridge, Sarah, Emma, Mia, Zack, and Carson. Great grandmother of Dayton. Also by nieces and nephews. Dolores was a 1957 graduate of St. Justin High School and a secretary in the real estate field for many years. Dolores was a long time member of Risen Lord Parish. We want to thank all our friends and relatives for their prayers and support. We also want to thank the great staff of the Family Hospice in Lawrenceville and Dan and Chuck who were excellent in their care for Dolores and for their compassion for the family. Family will receive friends Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4, 7-9 PM at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church Saturday time later. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
