Age 74, of West Deer Twp., formerly of Cranberry Twp., after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, July 21, 2016; Beloved wife for 49 years of William Courtad; Loving mother of Susan Matis (Joseph) and Jennifer Edwards; Proud grandmother of Michelle, Christopher, Lindsey, and Daniel; Sister of Gerald Young (Anne), Rachelle Steinberg (John), and Donald Young (Mary); Also survived by many loving friends and relatives. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd. (724) 772-8800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday 10AM in St. Victor’s Church, 527 Bairdford Rd., Bairdford, PA 15006. Everyone please meet at church. I send my deepest condolences to the family. It was very saddening to hear about the passing of Diane . Death is very devastating and difficult to deal with. Please know that God has such loving concern for bereaved ones (Psalm 146:5,9). God cares (Psalm 34:18) He is near to those broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort.
