David Russell McConnell, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2018 at his residence. Born October 26, 1951 in Pittsburgh, son of the late George R. and Jeannette (Hanney) McConnell.
Per David’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place and no services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry.

It is with great sadness that I hear of David’s passing. He was the one person who trained me in both the General Motors parts system and the Subaru parts system. I have been able to make a decent living for the last 20 years because of David’s time and patience introducing me to the dealer parts department. He was like a big brother to me-even when we had our differences. After all these years, and all that has transpired, he and I still maintained a friendship that I will remember forever. He was a great man and will be sorely missed.
