Age 76, of Cranberry Twp., formerly of Shaler Twp., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
Beloved Husband of 54 years to Kathleen (Kaczynski) Michalski. Loving father of Brandon L. Michalski (Diana Orozco), Marc A. Michalski and the late Ryan D. Michalski. Loving Brother-in-law of James Kaczynski (Sharon). Dave is survived by many loving cousins, relatives and friends.
Friends will be received on Monday 2-4 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, 10AM in St. Ferdinand Church, 2535 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
Dave was a proud undergraduate at Walsh University in Canton, Ohio. He completed his Masters in Education at Duquesne University. Dave will be remembered as an educator and entrepreneur. Dave’s career as a high school teacher, football and golf coach at North Catholic High School was his favorite job of all. His gift was how he mentored his middle school students. Dave’s quick wit and ability to tell a story was unmatched. He was the king of nicknames. After retirement, Dave and his family enjoyed spending time in Florida.
Dave will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A vivid memory I have of Dave is from a party in your mom’s basement, almost sixty years ago. I can see him behind those drums pounding out the intro to “Wipe Out”. What a fun guy.
Eternal rest in peace Dave, in God’s glory with those who love you. Those left here will miss you but know they will share in your peace forever.

Dave was an EXCEPTIONAL PERSON! Was on my Spring Training Staff for the Minnesota Twins the past few years! We shared laughs, stories from my years living in Pittsburgh and and became friends along the way! Dave was so VERY KIND, THOUGHTFUL and CONSIDERATE of others! I have known David since grade school. There are many fond memories from those years. We have kept in touch on Facebook, and also through classmates. My heart goes out to Kathy and David’s family. May he rest in peace in the arms of the angels.
