David Meister
Age 86, of Cranberry Twp., formerly of McCandless Twp., passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. Born November 11, 1934, son of the late Orville and Margaret (Sherran) Meister. Beloved husband of Margaret (Black Preston) Meister; loving father of David “Chip” (Madeline) Meister and Margaret “Peggy” (William) Winterfeld; stepfather of Roger (Laurie Jordan) Preston and Phillip (Jennifer) Preston; granddad of Will (Samantha) Meister Murray and Sam Meister, and Claire, Kirk, and Elizabeth Preston. Dave was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary-Helen (Higgins) Meister.

Memorial services will be held Friday, July 9, at 1:00 pm at Northmont U.P. Church, 8169 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237; and on Saturday, July 10 at 1:00 pm at Sherwood Oaks Community Center, which is private, 100 Norman Drive, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in David’s name to Northmont Presbyterian Church, or Sherwood Oaks Employee Scholarship Fund at the addresses above.
