Age 77, of Cranberry Twp., passed away after a brief illness on Saturday December 26, 2015. Beloved husband for 52 years of Ann Marie McQuillan Sheehy. Loving father of Jeanine Poleti (Tony), Patrick Sheehy (Lee Ann Ludwiczak) and Maureen Veverka (Jim). Proud grandfather of Jennifer Poleti Lindenberger (Jared), Tony Poleti, Tyler & Taylor Sheehy, and Allison, Sarah & Jack Veverka. Brother of D. Michael Sheehy (Diane) and the late Edward C. Sheehy (Janie). Son of the late Edward R. and Clara Trost Sheehy. Brother-in-law of the late James P. McQuillan (Barbara). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins. and friends. Dave was a proud member of St. Ferdinand Parish and a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Joseph P. Newell Council #11838. He enjoyed performing with the Greater Cranberry Bogmeister Chorus and was an avid outdoorsman. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., (724) 772-8800. Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday 10AM at St. Ferdinand Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

Dave was one the originals of the Greater Cranberry Barbershop Chorus, the Bogmeisters. We will miss his constant smile and his corny jokes that he used before he introduced songs, especially during the Christmas Tours. Rest in Peace brother Dave… Bob Norris, President

Dave will be sadly missed by all his friends. He was a strong spirit and influence on the success of the Barber Shop chorus. His sense of humor and love of life were apparent to all who knew him.
