Dear Joanne and Family: Words cannot express my sadness at Dave’s passing. I have such wonderful memories of the days we worked together at Pro Mech. He always had a smile for me and a joke! Always loved talking to him about the awesome trips you two took to so many foreign countries and he would bring me back a rock (because I collected them from my travels) or a souvenir. Also remember how mad he would get when we got new software and he couldn’t write his purchase orders any more. He HAD to put them in the computer!!! Yikes, he hated it. But he learned. Going to miss this guy so much. Diane

Mrs. Vogel/David/Jenny, family and friends, I am very saddened to hear that Mr. Vogel has passed away. He was a terrific man who always showed me tremendous kindness. I’ll never forget the Monday evenings watching Coach and Home Improvement, the hockey games, doing a little hunting, and so much more. I am also thankful for his service to our country as a member of the USMC. He will be tremendously missed. Rest in peace, Mr. Vogel, and semper fi! – From Andyman

Dear Aunt Joanne, Jenny (and Bill), and Dave,

Jim and I just heard about Uncle Dave (we are currently out of the country) and we wanted you to know that we are thinking of you all. Uncle Dave was so quick to smile and share his hearty laugh, but at the same time he could be quiet and sit back to listen then speak at just the right time. I will always treasure those discussions I had with them on the perimeter of the Smith Family gatherings. I know he loved you all dearly and was so thankful for you. I pray that you will find comfort in the coming days knowing that he blessed so many people during his life. With much love, Lisa and Jim

Joanne and family, I just can’t believe we have to go through life without Dave. His stories and sense of humor was so quick and when he entered the room the party began. I am amazed how he fought so hard to keep going. Joanne, he you both have been the best friends, we had so many good times and lots of laughter. I am praying you will find strength and comfort from your family and friends. Gary and I will miss Dave so much. And right now you have so much going on. I want you to always let us know how we can be there for you in the quiet time. Jesus has Dave in his arms and he is in no pain. I ask Jesus to send an army of angels to comfort all of you. God Bless You Toni and Gary
