David B. Cercone – Age 57, unexpectedly, of Pine Township. Preceded in death by his beloved Mother and Father, Amelia “Millie” Cercone and the Honorable William F. Cercone. Survived by his sister, Michelle Cercone, brothers Paul F. Biedrzycki and John A. Biedrzycki, Jr., his beloved partner Kimberly Montgomery, nieces Amy Raby (Biedrzycki) and Alyssa Martin (Biedrzycki), as well as his nephew John A. Biedrzycki, Esq.. David was an attorney for the past 31 years and headed the Pittsburgh law firm of Cercone, Erlain and Associates, where he will be deeply missed by his legal assistants Kathi Cahill Christine Hilliard and his law partner Anthony J. Erlain. He was a graduate of Penn State and the Duquesne University School of Law. David was a mentor to many young attorneys and was proud of that fact, but kept it quietly to himself. He sincerely loved working, and sharing his warm personality with court staff, judges and other attorneys.

While David has left this earth far before his time, he lived with an adventurous passion for life that would have filled dozens of normal lifetimes. He was an avid sportsman, who traveled the world hunting and fishing while competitively skeet and trap shooting at home. David spent many summer days exploring the Great Lakes on his boat, regularly taking family and friends along for the ride with his first mate Kim and first canine Brody. Wherever David was, whether on the lake, in court, or at home cooking fantastic meals for friends and family, he always brought his lighthearted personality, generosity and zest for living life to the fullest.

    Dearest Michele,

Know that my heart is with you. I know this particular, exquisite pain. I lost my own brother, David Talbott, unexpectedly as well, two years ago in December. You and he are in my prayers and I send my love and remembrance of our friendship. Light and blessings always, Susan
