Age 66, of Ross Twp., passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Beloved husband for 41 years of Linda (Faller); Loving father of Daniel Hastings, Jr. and Stepfather of Jason Thornton; Proud grandfather of Lainie, Jay, and Max Thornton, and Tyler and Kelsy Hastings; Treasured uncle of Jesse Herrle; Devoted brother of Christopher Hastings; Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 10:30AM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. Dan had a heart of gold and was known as a great hugger. He was the beloved caregiver and rock for his wife, Linda.

I new Danny for 50years we went to school to gather he was also my best man in my wedding even no we did not talk often when we did it was great I will miss his he was a great person

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss I only. Met him once but from what I’ve heard he was an amazing father and husband. And im sure he will be missed terribly. So very sorry for your loss.
Danny kissed his beautiful wife good night and died a happy man. He is in great company now. He will be greatly missed and grieved by ALL who knew him. But I know he would not want us to be sad for too long. Instead, he would want us to honor his memory by remembering good times shared and living life to the fullest until we all meet again.
