Age 87, of Franklin Park, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. Beloved husband for 54 years of Constance (Politylo); Loving father of Rocky Larimer (Anne) and Leslie Houpt (Michael); Proud grandfather of Daniel and Kate Larimer, and Samuel and Anna Houpt; Brother of John Dowiat and the late Albert Larimer. Dan is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Services will be private. Arrangements by DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Dan was a great uncle! I’ll always remember the long weekend he came to Dallas to visit me. We had a good time golfing together and I know he really enjoyed driving my Audi A4 convertible!
He also got me and my college roommate a summer job in the steel mill in 1980. I made enough money at that job to help pay expenses at college the next year and enabled me to go to Fort Lauderdale for spring break!
I will miss my uncle Dan.

So sorry to hear about Dan’s passing. My condolences to his Wife and family. I played Golf with Dan at the Monday Morning (MGF) Golf League. Always enjoyed being partnered with Dan. Dan loved to argue while we played or at our League picnic because he knew I would give him a run for his money. It was always in fun. Going to miss him. He was one of the GOOD GUYS!
