Age 77, of Ross Twp., on Saturday, July 18, 2015. From humble and meek beginnings, a worthy life lived fully, to an end with many courageous battles lived my dear father. Born in November 1937 to his Greek immigrant father, Phillip and mother, Bertha (Fagan), both deceased many years ago. His life was a story of highs and lows, and through the last 54 years, his wife, Leone was at his side. Together they lived well, with his family all nearby, all raising families of their own. Everyone will have many great memories from such a life, whether service members from days in the Air Force, co-workers from his lengthy career with USPS, dear friends, family, or acquaintances new or old. Take note, he in return held those memories dear. Cherished, respected, loved, and remembered by his wife, Leone; sister, Ruth (Ben) Logan; his four children, Carla and (Brian) Roos, Pamela House, Larry and Debbie Demas, Lisa and (Ken) George; 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Deanna, Tom, and Tony Roos, Sean and Zachary House, Nick, Samantha, and Mitchell Demas, and Lauren, Kevin, and Kailee George; and great- grandson, Nicholas Lee Demas; also, preceded in death by beloved siblings, Margaret Workman, George Demas, and Phillip Demas. Special thanks to all for the care, company, and prayers from friends, and many loved nieces and nephews that helped in the last few weeks. Friends received Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills, where a funeral service will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 10:30 a.m.
