Daniel Quigley

Age 62 of Ross Twp., formerly of Brighton Hts., entered Heaven on Friday, October 28, 2011, at his home after a 3 ½ year battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Lindsay (Garrity) Quigley, daughters, Allison Hixon (Rich), Megan Carey (Damion), and Sarah Quigley, his son, Kevin and grandchildren Nicholas, Rachael, Natalie, Owen, Zachary, and Lukas. Also surviving Dan are his sister, Catherine “”Bits”” Wain and brothers, David (Ellie) and Thomas Quigley.
Dan was the son of the late Edward and Isabelle (Isherwood) Quigley, and brother of the late Patricia, Kenneth (Laura), Donald (Claudia), Edward (Cathy), and Sandra Quigley.
Dan was a 1967 graduate of North Catholic H.S. and served in the US Army from 1969-1971 as a military policeman at Sandia Base, New Mexico. He worked for United Parcel Service for over 28 years and retired in 2007.
Friends received, Monday 6-8 PM and Tuesday 2-4, 6-8 PM at the T. B. Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. North Hills, Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of Avila Church, where he has been a long time parishioner, will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM .
Dan had a strong desire to help the needy, and the family suggests that in lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Catholic Charities, 212 Ninth St. Pgh, Pa. 15222.
