Colleen Lynn Fricioni, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on March 17, 1967, in Pittsburgh, PA, Colleen spent her life bringing joy and laughter to those around her. She was a dedicated educator whose passion for teaching inspired countless students throughout her career.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Domenico Fricioni, whom she married on October 23, 1993, and their cherished children: Jacob, Rachel (Jake Eaton), and Sophia. She was a loving sister to Patty (Tom) Luchkiw, Michael (Rhonda) Adams, and the late David Adams. Colleen’s generous spirit and selflessness were felt by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. There has never been a sister so understanding, a friend so compassionate, a wife so supportive, and a mother so loving.

A woman of great imagination and artistic flair, Colleen had a passion for cooking and crafting, always eager to share her latest recipe or creative endeavor with family, friends, and students. Her vibrant personality, stylish demeanor, and infectious laughter made family gatherings a true celebration, earning them the title of “funniest family ever”. She lit up every room she walked into and nurtured every person she came into contact with, always going out of her way to make those around her feel loved and supported. A faithful servant of God, Colleen found solace in her spirituality, which guided her through life’s challenges. Colleen was truly the light of the day, the warmth of a hug, and the heart of her family.

Family and friends are welcome to join us this Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 11 AM at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Miss Colleen. She was an amazing person and so wonderful and patient with all kids. Nicky had the pleasure of having her as a teacher in daycare and also this past summer at camp. I loved talking with her at the end of the day and praising her for dealing with all of the kids in the hot sun. She was truly one of a kind and such a special part of our lives. Prayers to her family. She will be deeply missed.

Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Fricioni, if she is anything like her daughter, Sophia, she meets everyone right where they are and embodies positivity, grace, and humility- making this loss felt by all. I am inspired by her zeal for life and am looking forward to sharing in her memory with Sophia. I leave my deepest sympathy with the Fricioni family.
