With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Cleve Gerkey Sr., age 85, of Ross Township, on July 16, 2026.
Cleve was the devoted husband of his beloved wife, Patricia, with whom he shared 69 wonderful years of marriage.
He was a loving father to his son, Cleve Gerkey Jr., and his two daughters, Jaime Mueller (Paul) and Becky Congalton (Bill).
He was also a proud and devoted grandfather to three grandsons and a cherished great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren.
Cleve’s love for his family, his kindness, and his gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.
Our hearts are broken by this tremendous loss.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he enriched.

I’m very sorry to learn of Cleves passing. I will always remember the great times my dad and I spent with him fishing and hunting at the camp down the road from Georges camp near Lake Wilhelm. He was truely a good guy and will be missed. My wife and I will keep you all in our prayers during this difficult time. God Bless.
