Clara A. Sovyak, age 88, of West View, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Wife of the late Michael Sovyak, Jr.; Beloved mother of Dianna Sovyak; Proud grandmother of Stacy Lynn Tipton and Tina Marie Green; Cherished great-grandmother of Madelynn, Noah, Paige, Brandon, and Brooke; Sister of the late Delores, Dorothy “Tuffy”, Albert, Joe, Helen, and George; Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends will be received on Friday from 4-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME. INC. 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Athanasius Church on Saturday 10AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd. Pgh, PA 15229.

I have known Clara since 1983 and in all of this time she has always proven to be one cantakerous, strong willed individuals and I’ve always loved her for it! She will truly be missed by anyone who ever had the pleasure to know her.
