Age 78, of Ross Twp., on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Beloved husband for 56 years of Joan (Schlegel) Hummel; loving father of Michael J. (Elaine) of Syracuse, Pauline J. Moyles of Whitehall, Eric P. (Ann Marie) of Lancaster, Heather L. Snyder (Nathan) of Doylestown, and the late Terry Lynn Hummel. Dear grandfather of Matthew, Shannon, Kristin, Ethan, and Claire. Clair was a 41 year employee of Peoples Natural Gas and an Army Korean War Veteran. Friends received Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa of Avila Church Saturday 10AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
