Christine Loverti
September 21, 1950 - March 19, 2003
age 52 of Franklin Park, died at her residence on Wed. 3-19-03. She was born in Pgh on 9-21-50 daughter of the late Mario and Speranza Frank Gazzola. She was an Orchestra Director at North Allegheny School District. And a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church.
Beloved Wife of John A. Loverti, Loving mother of Antonio G. Loverti and Angela Loverti Peet and her husband Todd. Sister of Beatrice Pitassi. Daughter in law of Dina and Jack McCloskey. Sister in law of Joanne Casey and Rachel and John Kaufman.
Visitation Thurs. 7-9PM And Fri. 2-4, 7-9 PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa Church, Sat. At 10:00 Am. Burial will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 2 Gateway Center, 13N Pittsburgh, PA 15222
I am so deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Chris. She was such a lovely and vivacious person that touched so many people in a positive way. She will be forever in our thoughts.
Christine was an active and endearing member of PMEA. I loved working with her and I was saddened when her district presidency was cut short by her illness. She was always upbeat and she was always thinking of ways to improve what we do in our organization. I will miss her greatly.
Chris was a wonderful person and outstanding musician. She will be sadly missed.
