My deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved mother. I think of you and Emily and will keep you and your family in my prayers.
I was unable to attend visitation due to illness. I knew Cherie only a few years, through our book club. She was a bright light, smiling and full of laughter. Cherie spoke lovingly about her family among her book club friends. Her loss will be felt deadly among us.
John, Michael and Family:
My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you at this most difficult time
I enjoyed playing golf and lunching with Cherie. She always lifted my spirits with her quick wit and funny stories. Cherie was so lively and enjoyed life to the fullest. I will miss her immensely.
Cherie was a dear friend and a fabulous educator. I always admired her for her positivity and her willingness to do almost impossible tasks. Be assured that she rests i 90n God’s hands! R I P
I am so sad to hear this news! Mrs. Drotar was one of the best teachers ever! I was lucky to see her in the summers during high school relaxing with her friends at ValleyBrook. I enjoyed babysitting for her during my highschool years. Not only was she my teacher, but years after high school I always looked forward to waiting on her and Mr. Drotar in Monte Cellos and catching up. Years passed and anytime I saw her was an absolute pleasure. I enjoyed catching up with her over dinner recently. She will truly be missed! Many prayers for Mr Drotar and Michael!
So sorry for your loss Mike. You were a very devoted son, loving and attentive every day. May your Mom rest in peace. 🙏
Cherie was such a brilliant unique light in this world. She has a mathematician’s brilliance, natural sportswoman agility, empathetic & caring heart, & found the funny in life especially when she would laugh as I don’t even look at where my bowling ball goes after lobbing it down the alley.
I will miss her physical presence, but will carry with me her smile, laughter, joy, kindness …. and when I feel the sun on my face I will feel the warmth of “Mon Cherie.”
