Age 93 of Ross Twp., died on Thurs. 2-2-2006 in Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh on 4-29-1912 son of the late Michael and Sarah Collins. Charles was a proud pioneer member of the United Steelworkers of America, AFL-CIO.
Loving father of Charles E. Collins Jr., of Evans City, Thecla Louise “Terri” Romeo (Ronald) of Monaca and Mary Alice Jack (Dave) of Economy. Dear grandfather of Charles E. III, Michael P., Martin P., Brian P., Erin K., Caitlin E. Collins, Connie Gaus, Anita Mensch, Ronald E. Romeo, Jr., David T. Jack, Jr., and Emily S. Jack. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Thecla Collins, his beloved son, Paul and cherished daughter in law, Connie.
Visitation SATURDAY AND MONDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Highway Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian Church Tuesday 10 AM. Interment will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery
