Catherine E. Lakomy
Age 96, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Born September 19, 1927, daughter of the late Albert and Mary Nickolay. Mother of Mary (Michael) Smialek, Robert, Patty (David) Lastominsky, late Raymond Lakomy; grandma of Carol, Chuck, Matt, and Megan; great-grandchildren, Logan, Mason, and Izzy; sister of Gen, Theresa, and late Mary Ann, Joe, Albert, Nick.

Mom loves her family, selling at flea markets with her sister Gen, going to the casino, traveling, flowers and reading.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Teresa of Avila Church. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Catherine’s name to St. Thomas The Apostle Food Bank.
