Catherine (Machi) Alioto, 89, of Shaler, died Thursday, July 14, 2011. She was the loving wife of 62 years of the late Mario F. Alioto; loving mother of Antonette (Ernest) Sotirake, Mary Rose (Stephen) Monarko and John (Dolores) Alioto; dear grandmother of Dawn (Jonathan) Lindgren, Michael (Jennifer) Sotirake, Sherry, Brian and Alicia Monarko, John, Jeanette and Catherine Alioto; great-grandmother of William and Brandon Monarko, Evie Lindgren and Natalie Sotirake; and sister of Antonio Machi and the late Rosa Tarantino, Fanina Tarantino and Antonette Balestreri. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the T. B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills.
