Brian Terence Connolly, 87, formerly of the North Hills, died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011. He was born Nov. 14, 1924, in Homewood, son of the late John and Bridget Connolly, of Galway, Ireland; beloved husband of the late Ann Malone Connolly; loving father of Brian (Carol), of Marietta, Ohio, Marion (Steve) Klayko, of Imperial, Jim (Mary), of Imperial, Shaun (Jeanne), of Wexford, Patrick, of the North Hills, Michael (Barbara), of Washington, Pa., and Tom (Jennifer), of Lake Orion, Mich.; grandfather of Dan (Tana) Maureen, Laura, Christine, Angela Klayko, Jimmy, Kevin, Brendan, Joey, Jack, Ted, Ben, Shannon, Michael, Sarah, Tricia, Thomas and Shaun Connolly; great-grandfather of Madeleine and Taryn Connolly. He was preceded in death by brothers, Michael, Thomas, John and Patrick Connolly. Brian attended Holy Rosary Grade School, Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School Class of 1942 and Duquesne University Class of 1948. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15229. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1000 Avila Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
