My 93 year old Uncle Tom and I only met Betty once. We sat at her table doing a trial lunch at the holiday in Bethel Park late September 2023. Tom was able to connect in conversation with her on the topic of Michigan. Betty’s daughter was nice enough to show us her room layout. Though Tom moved elsewhere, I continue to mention Betty’s name many times to him, and that afternoon always brought a smile to his face.
I scrolled through my old pictures and found her. You never know in life when lasting memories will be made!
