Bernice “Bee” McClure Stern

Age 93, of Passavant Retirement Community, formerly of Ross Twp. and New Sewickley Twp, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, with family at her side. Born March 7, 1929, daughter of the late Frank and Bernice (Stiller) Wichman. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. McClure, and Bernard Stern; loving mother of Robert S. (Kim), Richard L. (Patti), and Ronald J. (Lori) McClure; step-mother of Robert M, and Amy Stern (Marshall) Corsello; grandmother of Lindsay, Bobby, Ruth, Philip, Kelly, Nicholas, Austin, Alexis, Regan, and Reese; great-grandmother of Logan, Briana, and Kayleigh; baby sister to the late Cecilia Winsky, Johanna Beran, Alex Wichman, Selma Beran, and Carl Wichman.

Bee was a lifelong Catholic practicing her faith in several Catholic Parishes. She was the consummate homemaker with a true servant heart and a passion for cleaning. She enjoyed the company of her family and many friends, playing bingo and cards. Late in life inspired by Bernie, she bloomed as an artist leaving behind many treasured paintings.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 9:15 to 10:30 at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 am at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, with Rev. James A. Wehner S.T.D. officiating
